This sculpture, as its name suggests, is a winged rewrite of Mélusine. Freed from his prison, this genius of the air comes to question the social representations around the motherhood of women. Breastfeeding, considered as weaving the first social bonds with the child, is represented by a barley sugar side of the central structure and the acidulous aspect of the fabrics used. Pregnancy was materialized by thirteen fetuses in different stages of development. These states are represented by central rings of varying size and stacked on top of each other around an axis, to form a body reminiscent of a chrysalis.
